CARLOS ANGEL E.

After 40 years of practice in the Agricultural-Livestock and Chemical Sectors, today Carlos is a member of the Board of Directors at Ventura Group, a Colombian holding for ‘bulk materials’ port operator and other related logistics companies.

He initially did field work as a Veterinary-Zootechnician, in R & D of Veterinary Products at Cyanamid Interamerican Company, and Cattle Research at Colombian Agricultural Institute (I.C.A.), a government entity.

Then, for over 20 years he was involved in the Chemicals Sector with the ‘Cabarría group’, in the areas of market analysis, sales and business development. ‘Cabarría’, founded in 1938 is a senior company in the Colombian chemicals sector, representing key international manufactures of basic and specialty chemicals, as well as a manufacturer of a few basic pharmaceutical stock components. It was also the exclusive agent for all E.I. DuPont de Nemours products in Colombia.
